Latest News from WASPI: Update on the Ombudsman’s Findings and What’s Next

Fellow WASPI women, I know how tough this journey has been for all of us, but I wanted to update you on the latest from the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO). The Ombudsman has acknowledged that there was maladministration by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)—finally, something we’ve all known for years! But here's the frustrating part: the compensation they're suggesting, between £1,000 and £2,950, just doesn't come close to making up for the emotional and financial stress many of us have faced.
We’re still pushing hard for fair, one-off compensation that reflects the true impact this has had on our lives. This is about justice and not letting the government drag its feet any longer.
If you're feeling unsure or want more details, check out the latest on the WASPI website. We need to keep the pressure on, and together, we can get the fair compensation we deserve.
Stay strong, and don't forget, you're not alone in this fight! 💜
